Regulate your nervous system using simple food science (not breathwork or apps)
Last day to get Steady for £44
Dear reader,
I regulate my nervous system every day. It’s my main focus in life for both health and happiness. I regulate firstly, through food, not breathwork.
Not that there’s anything wrong with breathwork, or many of the other regulation tools, it’s just that if we don’t get our foundation regulated (stable blood sugar) we’re going to struggle to regulate our whole selves in any meaningful way.
My low-demand audio course, Steady, isn’t a diet. There’s no plan to follow perfectly, no restriction, nothing to fail at.
Most days I don’t think about food at all. Breakfast is usually an avocado cacao smoothie, blended with coconut milk. Simple, easy food choices.
My afternoons aren’t a write-off anymore. I have the cognitive energy to work, if I choose to, or go into town, get a massage, swim. Ordinary things that used to be completely out of reach.
My extra capacity goes somewhere real. A while back, I met a woman in a café. We got talking, and she opened up about her exhaustion and rage and her chronic leg pain from childhood Polio which always set in as the afternoon approached. I didn’t say anything, women in cafés don’t want to be coached, they want to be heard. But I couldn’t stop thinking about her afterwards, because I knew I could help her, and I wanted to. So I sent her a message, offering my support as a metabolic health coach in a pro-bono capacity.
She took me up on it and we worked together for a few weeks. We stabilised her blood sugar and increased her rest time. That was it. Two simple things. Her chronic pain reduced. Her rage vanished. Her afternoon crashes, gone.
None of this would have been possible for me a few years ago. Not the offer to help, not the energy to follow through on it. That capacity is what Steady actually gives you back, not just steadier afternoons, but room for the rest of your life.
Steady is a six-part micro-audio course teaching the exact blood sugar pairing method behind both of those stories, mine and hers. It is specifically tailored for neurodivergent women. Six short lessons, 5 to 12 minutes each, delivered straight to your inbox, no login, no app, listen while you’re doing something else if reading feels like too much.
What’s inside:
Why blood sugar is a Cell Danger Response trigger (and the impact of this on your nervous system)
The pairing principle, the actual how-to (easier than you might think)
Practical meal examples across different energy levels, including the very low ones (low-demand examples)
Sensory and executive function considerations, because ‘just eat better’ ignores how food actually works for us
Eating rhythms and timing (astonishingly powerful and important)
A closing reflection to help you move forward with ease
Steady is the first step to regular, reliable energy.
One of my clients contacted me yesterday to ask if she should buy the course. I told her no, she doesn’t need it. If you’re unsure if you’d benefit or not just drop me a line and I’m happy to answer honestly.
This is the last email in the Steady sequence. Thank you for your time and attention 🙏
Love Hannah xoxo
